Jenna Zusman is currently a Psychological Associate at Inner Fokus. She received her BA in Applied Psychology and Human Development at Boston College. Jenna attended Alliant International University/ California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) and received her M.A. in Clinical Psychology. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology PsyD program at CSPP at Alliant International University, San Diego. Jenna has worked with clients with diverse identities and concerns, including working at a psychodynamically-oriented preschool, Sharp Hospital’s Chronic Pain clinic, University of San Diego’s counseling and health & wellness centers, and long-term community mental health clinic serving the greater San Diego community. 

Areas of Interest

At Inner Fokus, Jenna sees clients for therapy as well as facilitating Inner Fokus’s PEERS Social Skills training for children, teens and young adults. Jenna utilizes an integrative approach to psychotherapy, drawing upon cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and mindfulness. Her areas of interest include relationships, power dynamics, self-esteem, trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, chronic pain, and auto-immune diseases.

Hobbies

In her free time, you can find Jenna spending time with her family and friends, spinning at her local studio, enjoying music at concerts, or flying off to her next international adventure!
